CORNBELT^® VOLASTOP™

Nitrogen Stabilizer Fertilizer Additive for Urea & UAN for use with any crop, including turfgrass, and in any soil type.

N-(n-butyl) thiophosphoric triamide (NBPT): 26.7%; Resin, solvents, and inert ingredients: 73.3%

CORNBELT® VOLASTOP™ inhibits nitrification of nitrogen at or near the soil surface, reducing the loss of nitrogen by volatilization.CORNBELT® VOLASTOP™ protects both granular and liquid UAN nitrogen fertilizers.

CORNBELT® VOLASTOP™ contains a patented solvent system to provide deeper penetration of urea prills and faster drying times.

Ammonium and other anions are attracted to the Highly Charged Resin. The Highly Charged Resin buffers the soil pH to help protect the NBPT from degradation from acidic soils.

CORNBELT® VOLASTOP™ contains a urease inhibitor to impede the hydrolysis of urea and reduce the consequent ammonia volatilization for urea placed at or near the soil surface.

CORNBELT® VOLASTOP™ works best when evenly sprayed onto granular nitrogen fertilizer, or thoroughly mixed with liquid UAN nitrogen fertilizers, that are applied to the soil.

USE RATES:

CORNBELT® VOLASTOP™ with Urea:

2 to 3 quarts per ton or 3.2 to 4.8 ounces per 100 pounds

CORNBELT® VOLASTOP™ with UAN:

1 to 2 quarts per ton or 1.6 to 3.2 ounces per 100 pounds

              Mixing Instructions:

Before blending with nitrogen fertilizers, a compatibility test should be “batch-tested”. May not be compatible with other fertilizer additives. See product label for blending instructions.
